Mickey Thompson BAJ BOSS MT LT295/55-20 123Q 33.1 is an all-season tire, built for mud-terrain use. The full sidewall spec is below, along with the overall diameter and revolutions per mile worked out for you, because those are the numbers that decide whether it clears and whether your speedometer still reads true.
What the sidewall is telling you
Load index 123 means each tire is rated to carry about 3,417 lb at its rated pressure, so a full set supports roughly 13,668 lb. Speed rating Q certifies it to 99 mph sustained. Never fit a tire with a lower load index than the placard in your door jamb calls for. On a truck that tows or hauls, going under the placard rating is the single most common cause of a tire failing under load.

Fitment checklist
- Rim diameter has to match your wheel exactly. Everything else is a clearance question.
- Check the load index against the placard in your driver door jamb, not against what came off the vehicle.
- Compare overall diameter with what is on the vehicle now.
- Check clearance at full steering lock and under suspension compression, not just standing still.
- On all wheel drive and four wheel drive vehicles, replace all four together. Mismatched tread depth loads the differential.
What you may also need
- Mounting and balancing at a local shop, unless you are ordering a wheel and tire package, which ships mounted and balanced.
- New valve stems. Rubber stems perish and are replaced as a matter of course when a tire is changed.
- TPMS service kits if your vehicle has direct TPMS sensors, since the seals are single use.
- An alignment if the tires you are replacing wore unevenly. Fitting new tires to a bad alignment ruins them the same way.
Running them well
Set pressure to the vehicle placard, not to the maximum printed on the sidewall. The sidewall number is the tire limit, not a recommendation. Check pressures cold, before driving, because a warm tire reads several psi high.
Rotate every 5,000 to 8,000 miles. Aggressive tread patterns in particular wear the front shoulders quickly on a vehicle that is driven on road, and rotation is the difference between getting the rated tread life and getting two thirds of it.
Ordering, shipping and returns
Unless the title says set or package, the price shown is for a single item. Set the quantity in the cart for a full set. Orders ship from a United States warehouse, normally within 1 to 3 business days, and orders over $199 ship free. Tracking is emailed as soon as the shipment is created.
Unmounted and uninstalled parts in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. A wheel that has had a tire mounted on it, or a tire that has been fitted, cannot be returned, because neither is new any more. That is why we check the fitment data on every order against the vehicle you give us and contact you before shipping if something does not add up. If you are not certain, send us the year, make, model, trim and what is on it now and we will confirm it first.
