Jeep Wheel and Tire Packages

Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator are the easiest platform in this catalog to fit and the most fun to build. Modern JK, JL and JT Jeeps all use a 5x5 (5x127) bolt pattern with a 71.5mm hub bore, which means wheel selection is wide and swapping between builds is simple. Common offsets run from +18mm down to -44mm, with -12mm being roughly the sweet spot for a 35 inch tire on a mild lift without excessive fender poke.Tire size guidance for a Wrangler is fairly settled at this point. 33 inch tires fit on a stock Rubicon and on a Sport with a small leveling spacer. 35s want a 2.5 inch lift and work best with a -12mm or more negative offset to clear the front control arms. 37s need a 3.5 inch or taller lift, and you should plan on re-gearing to 4.88 or 5.13 to keep the Jeep drivable and to protect the transmission.Remember to account for the spare. A Wrangler carries its full-size spare on the tailgate, and a 37 inch tire is heavy enough that many owners add a reinforced tailgate hinge or a swing-out carrier.
