Install and care

Torque the fasteners to the vehicle manufacturer specification in a star pattern, never in a circle, and never with an impact gun on the final pass. Re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles: fresh mounting surfaces settle and the clamp load drops. This one step prevents most loose wheel incidents.

Clean with a pH neutral wheel cleaner and a soft brush. Acidic cleaners and wheel cleaners designed for factory painted rims will stain machined faces, polished lips and chrome, and that damage is not covered by any finish warranty.

Wheel and tire packages ship mounted and balanced on a pallet or in individual boxes depending on size, and take a day or two longer to leave because they are assembled to order.

Returns

Unmounted and uninstalled parts in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Start a return by emailing us the order number and we will send a return authorisation and instructions.

Two things cannot be returned, and it is worth knowing why before you order. A wheel that has had a tire mounted on it is marked by the machine and is no longer new. A tire that has been fitted to a wheel has been stretched over a rim and cannot be certified as unused. Both are industry standard. Damaged or wrong item

If something arrives damaged or is not what the order says, tell us within 48 hours with photographs and we cover the return shipping and put it right. That is on us, not on you.

How do I read this tire size?

Metric sizes read as section width in millimetres, then aspect ratio as a percentage of that width, then the rim diameter in inches. So 275/60R20 is 275mm wide, a sidewall 60 percent of 275mm tall, on a 20 inch wheel. Flotation sizes read differently: 35x12.50R20 is simply 35 inches tall and 12.5 inches wide on a 20 inch wheel. The rim diameter has to match your wheel exactly.

Is this price for one tire or a set?

The listed price is per tire unless the title says otherwise. Set the quantity to four for a full set. Buying all four at once matters more than people expect on all wheel drive and four wheel drive vehicles, where mismatched tread depth loads the differential.

Will this size fit without a lift?

Depends how far you are going up. On a half ton truck one size up over stock usually clears with a leveling kit. Going from a 33 inch to a 35 inch tire almost always needs a leveling kit plus trimming at the front bumper corners. 37 inch tires need a real lift and usually a gear change to get the drivability back. Do these come mounted and balanced?

Tires ship on their own unless you order a wheel and tire package, which ships mounted, balanced and ready to bolt on. Loose tires need a local shop to mount them. Once a tire has been mounted it can no longer be returned, which is why we would rather check the size with you first.
